The great tragedy of the church

Most churches are busy with activities, programs and ministries.
Few churches are truly sending out their members to evangelize those in their communities.
1617The Great Commission has fast become the Great Omission.
Evangelism is dying.
Churches are dying.
People are going to hell without Christ.
It is perhaps the greatest tragedy today.

What are you doing to lead your church to become more evangelistic?

    Dear Doru,
You address a serious, challenging question.
I have found that personal investment and involvement makes the difference.
The good news is efficient there where the need is affirmed. We don’t need just to transfer the information (Gospel) to those who need Salvation because we will end focusing most of our energy on doing evangelism versus being an evangelistic community. According with a few word from our Lord Jesus (Luke 19:10) a key component for a church or group of people to be evangelistic is being a community that is built to attract and welcome in sinners. Does really church want this?

No, I don’t think that the church knows & want to fulfill its role as an evangelistic community.
They act like a social club with rights & privilleges. They built a fire & warm up satisfied there.
It’s a selfishness & comfort that keeps us not to reach others who are perishing!!!
